Laura Natalie Siegemund is a well-known singles and doubles tennis player from Germany who turned professional in 2006. The former World No. 4 in doubles is ranked No. 11 by WTA as of September 2024. She was ranked as high as No. 27 in singles in August 2016. Siegemund has won 14 WTA doubles titles, including her maiden WTA 1000 title at the 2022 Miami Open, defeating Elise Mertens and Veronika Kudermetova in the final with Vera Zvonareva.

Siegemund's best Grand Slam performance includes winning three Major titles, including one double and two mixed doubles. Her most recent victory came at the 2024 French Open with Edouard Roger-Vasselin in mixed doubles. She has also won two WTA singles titles, including the 2017 Stuttgart Open and the 2016 Swedish Open. Siegemund has won the 2023 WTA Tour Finals with Zvonareva, defeating Nicole Melichar-Martinez and Ellen Perez in the final. She also reached the final of the 2024 Madrid Open with her new doubles partner Barbora Krejcikova.
