She currently works as the Director of Strategy and Relations for the Rafael Nadal Foundation. Not much is known about Maria’s personal life, as despite being in the spotlight thanks to her super famous husband, she has maintained a low profile throughout the years.

The two went to school together and are believed to be introduced to each other by Nadal’s sister. They began dating in 2005 but their relationship was kept under wraps for a few years. They got engaged in January 2019 after dating for more than a decade and tied the knot in October 2019. They couple do not have any children as of now.
