Following the footsteps of his idol Andy Murray, Tallon Griekspoor is proving that he has the game for big occasions with a solid 2023 season. Ranked No. 40 in singles as of November 2024, Griekspoor won two titles as of 2024. Although his name has bloomed only off late, he already has wins against the likes of Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz and Holger Rune. Tallon Griekspoor began playing tennis at the tender age of five. On the ATP Challenger Tour in 2021, the aggressive starlet set the record for most titles in a season and ended with 25 straight wins (8-0 in finals and 42-7 overall). Griekspoor turned pro in 2015 and is coached by former top-30 player Kristof Vliegen.

Griekspoor reached the fourth round of a Masters tournament for the first time in his career at the 2024 Madrid Open, defeating Holger Rune. He finished semi-finalist at the 2024 Libema Open and lost to Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals at the 2024 Geneva Open. He reached the third round of the 2024 Australian Open, the 2024 French Open and the 2024 US Open.

Besides tennis, Griekspoor is a fan of multiple sports. In fact, he claims that Formula-1 veteran Max Verstappen is his hero. During his free time, he enjoys traveling, catching up on movies and watching other sports. In the upcoming 2024 season, Griekspoor will be looking to go deep in the Slams.
