Alex Tuch, born on May 10, 1996, is an American professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL. He was drafted in the first round, 18th overall, by the Minnesota Wild in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Tuch's early career involved playing youth hockey with the Lemieux Academy team and representing Team USA in various competitions. Additionally, he played college hockey for Boston College from 2014 to 2016, earning accolades for his performance.

In April 2016, he signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Minnesota Wild. Tuch spent time with the Iowa Wild, the Wild's AHL affiliate, before making his NHL debut in February 2017. On June 21, 2017, Tuch was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights. He played a key role in their journey to the 2018 Stanley Cup Finals. Moreover, in October 2018, he signed a seven-year, $33.25 million contract extension with the Golden Knights.

During the 2022–23 season, Tuch achieved career highs in goals, assists, and points, notably scoring his first career hat trick on October 20, 2022, and a second hat trick on April 1, 2023. Playing alongside Tage Thompson and Jeff Skinner, Tuch found offensive success, marking a standout season in his career.

Alex Tuch has acquired a two-acre lot in Clarence’s Spaulding Green subdivision for $259,900. The lot was previously owned by Spaulding Green LLC, the developer of the subdivision. The land was acquired in 2022.

Plans for a 10,311-square-foot house have been submitted to the Town of Clarence Building Department, with Jurek Builders set to handle the construction. The proposed residence includes a 4,888-square-foot first floor, a 3,267-square-foot second floor, a 1,275-square-foot attached garage, and 881 square feet of patios. Tuch's investment in the property reflects his commitment to building a private residence in the Clarence area.

In an interview with NHLPA, Tuch stated that he was excited about moving to Clarence. It is possible that he might move here once the house is built.

Alex Tuch added a second home in Summerlin to his real estate portfolio. The new home, located in The Ridges in Summerlin, was purchased for $2.35 million, and the deal closed on July 2, 2020. Built in 2016, the golf course property spans 4,888 square feet, featuring five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The residence includes amenities such as a covered outdoor kitchen, sunken fire pit, waterfalls, enclosed lanai, putting green, and a wine cellar.

Alex Tuch's first home in Summerlin was purchased in August 2018, just before the Vegas Golden Knights' inaugural season. This residence is smaller than his second Summerlin home, spanning 2,406 square feet. The property features three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Tuch acquired this home for $472,500, according to records. Following the purchase of his first home, Tuch signed a seven-year, $33.25 million contract extension with the Vegas Golden Knights.
