Brandon Hagel is an ice hockey forward for the Tampa Bay Lightning in the NHL. Initially overlooked in the WHL Bantam Draft, he signed with the Red Deer Rebels, where Hagel set a franchise record for most assists and helped the team reach the 2016 Memorial Cup. Born on August 27, 1998, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan was drafted 159th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in 2016. He later signed with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2018.
