Brett Kulak is an ice hockey defenseman, playing for the Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League (NHL). Kulak was drafted 105th overall by the Calgary Flames in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, while still in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Vancouver Giants.

Kulak signed with the Flames in 2014. He later joined the now-defunct Abbotsford Heat on amateur try-out agreements before moving on to the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL. He got back to the AHL with the Adirondack Flames. Brett Kulak made his debut on April 11, 2015, against the Winnipeg Jets in a 5- 1 win. Kulak played for the Flames until 2018, when he was traded to the Montreal Canadiens, where he played until 2022. That year, he was traded to the Oilers, with whom he signed a four-year contract in the summer of 2022.
