Brett Kulak is a Canadian defenseman who plays for the Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected 105th overall by the Calgary Flames in the fourth round of the 2012 NHL draft after completing his first full season with the Vancouver Giants of the Western Hockey League (WHL). However, Kulak remained with the Giants for two more seasons before signing a three-year, entry-level contract with the Flames on March 18, 2014.

Kulak, who began his professional career in the ECHL and moved up to the Adirondack Flames in the American Hockey League (AHL), made his NHL debut on April 11, 2015. He became a regular on the Flames' third defensive pair by the 2017-18 season. He was traded to the Montreal Canadiens on October 1, 2018. He remained with the Canadiens for three more seasons before moving to the Edmonton Oilers on March 21, 2022.
