Eric Robinson is an American professional ice hockey winger playing for the Carolina Hurricanes in the NHL. Born June 14, 1995, Robinson was raised in Bellmawr, New Jersey. He attended Gloucester Catholic High School, where he graduated in 2013. He honed his skills in the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the Dubuque Fighting Saints and later in college hockey at Princeton University. At Princeton, Robinson's game evolved significantly, and he served as team captain during his senior year, leading the Tigers to an ECAC championship and an NCAA tournament berth.

Robinson began his NHL journey by signing as a free agent with the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2018. Over six seasons with the Blue Jackets, he developed into a reliable depth forward, achieving career highlights such as his first NHL goal in 2019 and a hat-trick in 2023. After a brief stint with the Buffalo Sabres, he joined the Hurricanes in 2024.
