Ivan Barbashev is an ice hockey forward for the Vegas Golden Knights as of March 2025. He was drafted 33rd overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Barbashev began skating at age three. His older brother, Sergei, plays for Admiral Vladivostok in the KHL, while his younger brother, Max, plays for the Bloomington Bison.

Barbashev played junior hockey with the Moncton Wildcats in the QMJHL before joining the Blues' AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves. He made his NHL debut with the Blues in 2017 and was part of their 2019 Stanley Cup-winning team. In 2023, he was traded to Vegas, where he helped the Golden Knights win the Stanley Cup.

2023 Stanley Cup – Vegas Golden Knights

Barbashev won his second Stanley Cup in 2023 with the Vegas Golden Knights. After being traded to Vegas in February, he became a key player on their top line. During the playoffs, he recorded seven goals and 11 assists. The Golden Knights won their first Stanley Cup by defeating the Florida Panthers in the Finals.
