
Noah Hanifin is an American defenseman for the Vegas Golden Knights in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted fifth overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2015 NHL draft and debuted with the team in October 2015. Hanifin, who became the youngest player to play college hockey for the Boston College Eagles at age 17, scored his first NHL goal in November 2015.
Hanifin had a strong offensive season with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2017-18 before being traded to the Calgary Flames in 2018. After six seasons with the Flames, he was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights in March 2024, where he penned a long-term contract extension later on.
