Patrik Laine is an ice hockey right winger for the Montreal Canadiens. Prior to the NHL, Laine played for Tappara in Finland’s top league, Liiga. Patrik Laine led all rookies with 17 goals and 33 points for Tappara and helped Tappara win the 2016 championship. He was named the playoff MVP that season.

Laine was drafted to the NHL in 2016, as the second overall by the Winnipeg Jets. In his debut season with the Winnipeg Jets, he scored 36 goals and 64 points, finishing second for the Calder Trophy.
