Rod Brind'Amour is a former professional ice hockey player and is the head coach for the Carolina Hurricanes in the National Hockey League (NHL), as of April 2025. He played 20 seasons in the NHL for the St. Louis Blues, Philadelphia Flyers, and Carolina Hurricanes. Brind'Amour, who was drafted by the Blues in the 1988 NHL draft, led the Hurricanes to their first Stanley Cup championship in 2006.

Brind'Amour, who retired in 2010 after playing 1,484 career NHL games, was appointed as the Carolina Hurricanes' assistant coach and development coach in 2011. He was named the Hurricanes' head coach in 2018 and guided the team to its first Stanley Cup playoffs berth in a decade in the 2018-19 season. The one-time Jack Adams Award winner became the fastest coach to 300 victories in NHL history in 2024.
