
Samuel Bennett is a Canadian ice hockey forward for the Florida Panthers as of May 2025. Drafted 4th overall by the Calgary Flames in 2014, he played junior hockey with the Kingston Frontenacs. Bennett made his NHL debut in 2015 and scored a four-goal game in 2016, becoming the youngest in Flames history to record a hat trick.
On April 12, 2021, he was traded to the Florida Panthers, scoring 15 points in 10 games to close that season. He signed a four-year, $17.6 million extension on July 26, 2021. In 2021–22, Bennett scored 28 goals and 49 points, helping Florida win the Presidents’ Trophy.
