Scott Arniel is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former National Hockey League (NHL) star. He is the head coach of the Winnipeg Jets in the NHL, as of April 2025. He was appointed as the Jets' head coach on May 24, 2024, after spending two seasons as the team's associate coach. Arniel was the Washington Capitals' assistant coach from 2018 to 2022 and the New York Rangers' associate coach from 2013 to 2018.

Arniel, who hails from Kingston, Ontario and was the Columbus Blue Jackets' head coach between 2010 and 2012, enjoyed a stellar playing career as a left winger. He appeared in 830 NHL contests for the Winnipeg Jets, Buffalo Sabres, and Boston Bruins, tallying 338 points. He also won two Memorial Cups with the Cornwall Royals and represented Canada at the World Junior Championships, earning gold in 1982.
