Scott Arniel is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former player. He became the Winnipeg Jets' head coach on May 24, 2024. Before this role, he served as an assistant coach for the Washington Capitals for four seasons, during which the team consistently reached the playoffs. Arniel is a native of Kingston, Ontario, and has over three decades of experience in professional hockey.

As a player, Arniel recorded 338 points over 730 NHL games for the Winnipeg Jets, Buffalo Sabres, and Boston Bruins. He also won gold at the 1982 World Junior Championships and two Memorial Cups with the Cornwall Royals. Transitioning to coaching, he held several leadership positions, including a head coaching role with the Columbus Blue Jackets and assistant roles with NHL teams like the New York Rangers and Buffalo Sabres.
