Colorado Avalanche v Dallas Stars - Game Five

Tyler Seguin, born on January 31, 1992, is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre and alternate captain for the Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League (NHL). Notably, Seguin was considered as one of the top prospects leading to the NHL Entry Level Draft before getting picked up by the Boston Bruins as the 2nd overall pick and was one of the key players leading to their Stanley Cup victory in 2011. Moreover, he was selected to the NHL All-Star Game the following season and again played a pivotal part in the 2012 Stanley Cup finals, where the Bruins fell short narrowly.

On July 4, 2013, shortly after the Stanley Cup playoffs, Seguin was involved in a major seven-player trade. He along with Rich Peverley and defenceman Rayn Button, was traded to the Dallas Stars in exchange for forward Loui Eriksson and prospects Joe Morrow, Reilly Smith, and Matt Fraser. At the time, this trade made a lot of new as it was considered that the Bruins were unhappy with Tyler Seguin's off ice antics. However, his stay with the Dallas Stars have proven otherwise, with him getting selected to five NHL All-Star Games since joining them and has notched up nearly 295 goals with them till date (stats as of 2023-24 season).

Where does Tyler Seguin live?

Tyler Seguin resides in a luxurious home in the prestigious Preston Hollow neighborhood, which he purchased from Hall of Famer Mike Modano for $1.9 million in 2014. Originally built in 1999, this five-bedroom, five and a-half-bath residence was transformed from its original Tuscan-inspired design to a sleek, contemporary style with white-and-gray decor by Seguin. Moreover, the mansion spans 7,250 square feet and includes amenities such as a full gym, an outdoor fire pit, a game room with a wet bar, and a humidor closet. Unfortunately, the house was damaged by a tornado in October 2019, but Seguin continues to live there.

They are joined by Seguin's wife, Kate Kirchof.
