Aerial Powers is a professional basketball player who plays as a shooting guard for the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA. She attended Detroit Country Day School and led her team to win four consecutive regional trophies. After high school, Powers committed to Michigan State University and played for the Michigan State Spartans. During her college career, she played in 96 games, starting 94 of them and amassing 1,817 points with an average of 18.9 points per game, along with 937 rebounds. She was also a member of the 2015 World University Games team, where they won gold, and she was the leading scorer throughout the tournament.

Powers began her WNBA career when she was selected as the fifth overall pick by the Dallas Wings in the 2016 WNBA Draft. She played three seasons with the Wings, appearing in 59 games and scoring 555 points with 174 rebounds. Midway through the 2018 season, Powers was traded to the Washington Mystics, where she won her first WNBA championship in 2019, defeating the Connecticut Sun in the finals. In 2021, she signed a contract with the Minnesota Lynx. After three seasons with the Lynx, she joined the Atlanta Dream for the 2024 WNBA season. As of September 10, 2024, she has played in 190 WNBA games, starting 56 of them, while scoring 1,994 points, grabbing 635 rebounds, and giving 302 assists. In addition to her WNBA career, she has played in the Turkish and Chinese leagues as well.
