Aerial Powers is a women's basketball player who plays for the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA. She was born on January 17, 1994, in Detroit, Michigan, U.S. Power started her basketball life at Detroit Country Day School where she led her team for four consecutive regional championships. After school success, she committed to the Michigan State Spartans women's basketball team. In her college career, she was named the Big Ten All-Freshman Team and in her sophomore season, she was a Big Ten All-Defensive Team selection.
In 2016 Powers was selected 5th overall by the Dallas Wings in the WNBA draft. In the first season, she made it to the WNBA All-Rookie Team by averaging 10.4 points per game. After two complete seasons playing as a Dallas wings player, she was traded to the Washington Mystics for two seasons and eventually shifted to the Atlanta Dream team in the 2024 season. She also won the WNBA championship in 2019 playing for the Washington Mystics team. As of September 7, 2024, she is averaging 8.6 points, 1.4 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game.
