Waite High School then she shifted to college basketball in The Florida State Seminoles women's basketball team. Her school success made selection for McDonald's All-American game in 2010. she became a 2-time First-team All-ACC selection in 2013 and 2014 and was also named to the ACC All-Defensive Team twice during her college career.
