About Wuhan Open 2025
The Wuhan Open is a professional women’s tennis tournament held annually on hard outdoor courts. The tournament was first held in 2014, and is one of the Premier 5 tournaments on the WTA Tour. It is also one of the three major tournaments in China under WTA.

The 2019 Wuhan Open Tournament will be held from 22nd September 2019 to 28th September 2019. It will be hosted in Wuhan, China at Optics Valley International Tennis Center.

2018 Wuhan Open Champions
Aryna Sabalenka was last years defending champion against Anett Kontaveit for the Single's titles whereas for the Doubles titles Elise Mertens and Demi Schuurs were the defending champions against Andrea Sestini Hlavackova and Barbora Strycova
