Known for his powerful baseline play and bold tactics, Alexander Zverev is well on his way toward extending the German legacy on the ATP Tour. At the peaking age of 27, he has already won an Olympic gold medal, reached a Grand Slam final, and beaten all members of the Big 3. He achieved his career-high singles ranking of No. 2 (current ranking) in June 2022.

Zverev has won 23 singles and two doubles titles on the ATP Tour, including winning seven ATP 1000 titles. He has also won the season-ending Nitto ATP Finals on two separate occasions, by brushing aside arguably the two best players of the respective editions (Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev).

Zverev's current season began by making it to his first Australian Open final following Novak Djokovic's withdrawal from the tournament due to a muscle tear. In the final, he lost to Jannik Sinner by 6-3, 7-6, 6-3. For finishing as a finalist at the tournament, Zverev won a prize of A$1.9 million.
