Collins has won four WTA singles titles, including the Silicon Valley Classic and the Palermo Open in 2021. She won her first doubles title at the 2023 Charleston Open.
Collins started the 2024 season by winning her third singles title at the Miami Open, defeating Grand Slam champion Elena Rybakina in the final. With her win at the Miami Open, she became the lowest-ranked champion and the third woman to win her maiden singles title in Miami after turning 30, following Petra Kvitova and Chris Evert. Within two weeks, she lifted the trophy of the 2024 Charleston Open, becoming the second player after Serena Williams to win back-to-back Miami Open and Charleston Open.
Her best grand slam performance was at the 2022 Australian Open, where she defeated Iga Swiatek and Alize Cornet in thrilling matches. Unfortunately, she lost to the formidable Ashleigh Barty in the final, leaving a lasting impression with her performance.
