Ellen Perez is a professional tennis player from Australia, born on October 10, 1995, in Shellharbour City Council, Australia. She achieved her career-high doubles ranking of No. 7 in April 2024. Perez has won seven WTA doubles titles in her career so far. She also won 19 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Perez began playing tennis at three after receiving a totem tennis pole as a Christmas gift from her parents. She began playing tennis regularly after the age of seven.

Perez made her Grand Slam debut in doubles at the 2016 Australian Open with Belinda Woolcock, however, the pair was defeated in the first round. She made her Grand Slam singles debut at the 2016 US Open. Perez joined the University of Georgia in 2014 and played college tennis there between 2014 to 2017. She was named an All-American five times during her college career. Perez has a brilliant record in Grand Slams in doubles. She has made the semifinals of the French Open (2023) and US Open (2022).
