The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City will host the 143rd US Open from August 28 to September 10.


Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Świątek are the current winners of the men's and women's singles respectively and will be looking to defend their titles.


The event will feature both men's and women's singles and doubles draws, as well as mixed doubles.


15 hard courts with DecoTurf surfaces are used for the US Open Grand Slam, including the three feature courts — Arthur Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium and Grandstand.


Will Coco Gauff be playing in the 2023 US Open?

Gauff started the 2023 season at the Auckland Open, where she defeated Rebeka Masarova in straight sets in the final. Gauff then advanced to the fourth round of the 2023 Australian Open, where she lost to Jeļena Ostapenko in straight sets.


Gauff advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2023 Qatar Total Open by defeating Petra Kvitová in the second round. Gauff and Jessica Pegula successfully defended their doubles title at the same competition by defeating Lyudmyla Kichenok and Jeļena Ostapenko in a three-set final.


Gauff beat Madison Keys in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Dubai Tennis Championships and advanced to the semifinals, where she lost to Iga Świątek.


Gauff was defeated by Aryna Sabalenka, the second seed and eventual runner-up, in the quarterfinals of the 2023 BNP Paribas Open. In the third round of the Miami Open, Gauff lost to Anastasia Potapova.



Gauff defeated Maria Sakkari in the Washington Open finals, winning the title in August 2023. Her biggest singles title to date, it was her maiden WTA 500 singles triumph. She was the first teenager to claim the title.


Coco Gauff has four WTA singles titles and eight doubles titles till date. According to the WTA website, she has won over $7.6 million in prize money till date.
