Josh Jacobs is an American professional ice hockey player who plays as a defenseman with the Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League (AHL). He was selected by the New Jersey Devils in the second round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He played collegiate hockey at Michigan State University but chose to leave the Spartans after his freshman season to sign with the Sarnia Sting of the OHL. He made his NHL debut with the New Jersey Devils in 2018-19 in a match against the Boston Bruins, where the New Jersey Devils defeated the Boston Bruins.

In 2021, Josh signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Carolina Hurricanes. He spent the entire season with the Hurricanes' AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves. In 2022, Josh signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Colorado Avalanche. He spent the entire season with the Avalanche's AHL affiliate, the Colorado Eagles, appearing in 43 games. In 2023, Josh Jacobs signed a one-year, two-way contract with the St. Louis Blues.
