Joshua Jacobs was the 24th overall pick of the 2019 NFL draft. He plays as the running back for the Green Bay Packers as of Septmeber 2024. Jacobs attended McLain High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he had an impressive high school football career, accumulating 5,372 yards and 56 touchdowns for the Titans. He committed to playing college football at the University of Alabama.

Jacobs tragically faced homelessness during middle school but it didn't stop him from pushing forward and overcoming such difficulties. He was part of two pro-bowl (in 2020 and 2022) and was the NFL rushing yards leader in 2022. After spending the first five seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, Jacobs signed a 4-year contract with the Green Bay Packers in March 2024. In his first year at Alabama in 2016, Jacobs shared playing time with Damien Harris and Bo Scarbrough. He rushed 85 times for 567 yards and four touchdowns. During his sophomore year in 2017, he recorded 284 yards on 46 carries with one touchdown. It was later found that he played most of the season with a broken ankle. As a junior, Jacobs earned the title of MVP in the 2018 SEC Championship Game against the Georgia Bulldogs. He had rushed for 83 yards and scored two touchdowns.
