
Kyle Connor is an American left winger for the Winnipeg Jets in the National Hockey League (NHL), as of May 2025. Connor, born in Clinton Township, Michigan, United States on December 9, 1996, was drafted 17th overall by the Jets in the 2015 NHL entry draft. He won the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy in 2022 and was selected to be a part of the NHL All-Star Game in 2022 and 2024.
Before his NHL debut on October 13, 2016, Connor played at University of Michigan between 2015 and 2016. He won the Big Ten Player of the Year honor and National Rookie of the Year award in 2016. Connor was also named to the All-Big Ten First Team, All-Big Ten Freshman Team, and Big Ten All-Tournament Team in 2016.
