Marcus Foligno family

Marcus Foligno, nicknamed “Moose,” is a professional ice hockey winger and alternate captain for the Minnesota Wild in the NHL. Born on August 10, 1991, Foligno was drafted 104th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. A native of Buffalo, New York, Foligno began his NHL career in 2011. He is a silver medalist with Team Canada at the 2011 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. Foligno signed a four-year, $16 million contract extension with the Wild in 2023.

After retiring, he coached in the NHL and managed the Sudbury Wolves, where his sons, Nick and Marcus, played. Foligno later became a scout for the Vegas Golden Knights.

Nick Foligno, the older brother of Marcus, is a professional NHL player and captain of the Chicago Blackhawks. Born in 1987, he was drafted 28th overall by the Ottawa Senators in 2006. Nick played for several teams, including the Senators, Blue Jackets, Boston Bruins, and Maple Leafs.
