Oliver Oscar Emanuel Ekman-Larsson plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted sixth overall by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2009 NHL Draft. He played for Leksands in Sweden before moving to North America in 2010. He made his NHL debut on October 9, 2010, and scored his first NHL goal on January 17, 2011.
He signed an eight-year extension with the Coyotes in 2018 and became their captain. On July 23, 2021, he was traded to the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks bought out his contract on June 16, 2023.
