Sergei Andreyevich Bobrovsky, born on September 20, 1988, is a Russian professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Florida Panthers in the NHL. His career took off with the Philadelphia Flyers in 2010 when he became the youngest goalie to start a season-opening game for the team. Despite a setback during the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs, he found success with the Columbus Blue Jackets after a trade in 2012, winning the Vezina Trophy and finishing fifth in the Hart Trophy voting.

His time with the Panthers saw significant playoff success, with notable performances.These include a 33-save win against the Boston Bruins in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference First Round in 2022 and a record-breaking 50-save performance in Game 5 of the 2023 Eastern Conference Second Round against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Bobrovsky's contributions helped the Panthers reach the Eastern Conference Final for the first time since 1996.
