Seth Jarvis is a professional ice hockey center for the Carolina Hurricanes in the NHL. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and played for youth teams like the Tuxedo Lightning, Assiniboine Park Rangers, and Winnipeg Monarchs. Jarvis later played for the Portland Winterhawks in the WHL, where he scored 73 goals.

He was drafted 13th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and signed a three-year contract with them on December 28, 2020. Jarvis made his NHL debut on October 31, 2021, against the Arizona Coyotes and recorded his first assist in that game. He scored his first NHL goal on November 3, 2021, against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The following season in 2013–14, he posted 13 goals and 24 assists for 37 points in 22 games and 9 points in 6 playoff games, as per Elite Prospects.

He then moved on to junior hockey with the Winkler Flyers in the MJHL. In the 2014–15 season, he scored 14 goals and 6 assists in 50 games, with 2 points in 4 playoff games. In 2015–16, he improved to 13 goals and 26 assists in 45 games and added 6 points in 9 playoff games, as per Elite Prospects.
