The St. Louis Blues are a professional ice hockey team based in St. Louis who play in the National Hockey League (NHL) as part of the Central Division in the Western Conference. Notably, the team won the Stanley Cup in 2019 and has made the playoffs more times than any other team not part of the Original Six. Moreover, they play their home games at the Enterprise Center in downtown St. Louis, after shifting from their previous arena in 1994.

Although they have been frequent postseason contenders for most of their existence, the Blues have usually struggled in the playoffs, including consecutive Stanley Cup Finals defeats at the end of their first three seasons. However, they changed their fortunes the forth time they appeared in the Finals in 2019. This time around they emerged as winners after defeating the Boston Bruins in a closely fought series. Remarkably, it was 49 years after their last appearance. They also became the final active team from the 1967 expansion to win their first Stanley Cup that season.

St. Louis Blues NHL Playoff History and Appearances
