Zach Hyman is a Canadian left winger who plays for the Edmonton Oilers as of 2025. He was drafted 123rd overall by the Florida Panthers in the 2010 NHL Draft after scoring 102 points in 43 games with Hamilton of the OJHL in 2010–11. He won Canadian Junior A Player of the Year and RBC CJHL Player of the Year.

Hyman didn’t sign with Florida. He was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs on June 19, 2015, and signed with them four days later. He made his NHL debut on February 29, 2016. In 2016–17, he had 28 points in 82 games. He set career highs in 2017–18 with 40 points and had a +22 rating. He scored 21 goals in both 2018–19 and 2019–20. In 2021, he signed a seven-year contract with the Oilers. On March 24, 2024, he became the seventh player in Oilers history to score 50 goals in a season.
