Julie Vanloo College

Julie Vanloo is a Belgian professional basketball player, who plays in the WNBA as well as other leagues internationally as of 2024. She entered the WNBA with her first contract from the Washington Mystics in 2024, before which, she played in multiple countries including France, Sweden and Australia among others. She is 5 foot 8 inches tall and plays as a Point Guard in the WNBA. She has also played for the Belgian national team, participating in the EuroBasket Women 2017, 2021 and 2023 and also in the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics. As of September 2024, she has scored 294 points, 173 assists and 65 rebounds for the Washington Mystics.

Vanloo was approached in 2024 by the Washington Mystics to be part of the squad, which she agreed to quickly, as she had aspirations of playing in the WNBA, but a contract had never materialized before. With a change of a few agents and largely better performances on her part in Galatasaray in the 2023 season, she got an opportunity to fulfil her lifelong dream of playing in the WNBA, as per The Next.
