Buffalo Sabres (2015-2021)

According to nhl, Linus Ullmark was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the 6th round (163rd overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft. He spent the first few years of his career playing in Sweden with Modo in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) before moving to North America. In the 2015-16 season, Ullmark split time between Buffalo and the Rochester Americans of the AHL. He played 20 games in the NHL, posting an 8-10-2 record with a 2.60 goals-against average (GAA) and a .913 save percentage.

Despite strong numbers, Ullmark spent most of the next two seasons in the AHL, playing only six NHL games. In 2018-19, he became the Sabres' backup goalie, later taking over as the starter during a season where he played 37 games, finishing with a 15-14-5 record, 3.11 GAA, and .905 save percentage. Ullmark earned the No. 1 spot in the 2019-2020 season, where he posted a 17-14-3 record, 2.69 GAA, and .915 save percentage. He played six seasons with Buffalo.

Boston Bruins (2021-2024)

According to nhl, Following the 2020-21 season, Linus Ullmark signed a four-year, $20 million contract with the Boston Bruins. He immediately became the Bruins' starting goaltender and had a breakout season in the 2021-22 season. He played in 40 games and recorded a 26-10-2 record with a 2.45 GAA and a .917 SV%. In the 2022-23 season, he played in 49 games and recorded a 40-6-1 record with a 1.89 GAA and a .983 SV%.

Linus's performance in 2022-23 earned him a nomination for the Vezina Trophy, which is awarded to the NHL's best goaltender. He also won the William M. Jennings Trophy and the Elizabeth Dufresne Trophy in 2023.

Linus Ullmark began the 2023–24 season as the starting goaltender for the Boston Bruins. He ended the season strong, posting a 1.90 goals-against average (GAA) and a .935 save percentage in his last nine games. In the 2024 Stanley Cup playoffs, the Bruins were eliminated in the second round by the Florida Panthers in six games.

Ottawa Senators (2024-present)

According to nhl, In June 2024, Ullmark was traded to the Ottawa Senators by the Boston Bruins in exchange for Joonas Korpisalo, Mark Kastelic, and a first-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft. On October 9, 2024, he signed a four-year, $33 million contract with Ottawa, carrying an average annual value of $8.25 million.
