Justin Anderson: A Brief Biography
Justin Lamar Anderson is an American professional basketball player for the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA. He played college basketball for Virginia before being selected with the 21st overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft by the Dallas Mavericks.
In his sophomore year at Virginia, Anderson won ACC 6th man of the year honors.
On June 25, 2015, Anderson was selected by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2015 NBA draft. He joined the Mavericks for the 2015 NBA Summer League, where he averaged 17.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.2 steals in six games
He started 9 games for the Mavericks in his rookie season and had multiple assignments to the Texas Legends(The Mavericks' D-League Affiliate team)
On February 23, 2017, Anderson was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers, He had four 19-point games in the 2016-17 season and scored a career-high 26 points in a 114-113 loss to the Knicks.
On July 25, 2018, Anderson was traded to the Atlanta Hawks.
