Born on June 12, 2004, Arthur Fils is a professional tennis player from France. He reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 18 (current ranking) on March 17, 2025, and a doubles ranking of No. 186 on January 6, 2025. He won his first ATP Tour singles title at the Lyon Open in 2023, and he has since won three more as of March 2025. He is a strong player who finishes points fast with his serve and forehand. As he stated to Ouest-France in 2023: "In the way I play, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga's the one I identify with the most."

Fils turned professional in 2021 and made his ATP tour debut at the 2022 Rolex Paris Masters, becoming the youngest French qualifier to enter the main draw of a Masters 1000 tournament since Gael Monfils in 2004. He entered the top 100 in May 2023, becoming the youngest active player to reach this milestone. He made his Grand Slam debut at the French Open in 2023, where he lost in the first round against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. He defeated four top-20 players to become the second-youngest champion in the history of the Tokyo tournament.
