Frenchman Arthur Fils made his ATP Tour debut at the 2022 Rolex Paris Masters, ranked No. 18 (career-high) in the world. He became the youngest French qualifier to enter the main draw of a Masters event in the process. Arthur Fils has three career singles titles to his name as of March 2025. At the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, Arthur Fils showcased his immense talent at the Grand Slam, reaching the Round of 16. He was born on June 12, 2004, in Courcouronnes, France. The 20-year-old prodigy won his first trophy on home soil in Lyon and never looked back. In 2024, he won two titles in Hamburg and Tokyo - beating the likes of Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, Holger Rune, and Ben Shelton in the process.

Arthur Fils ended his 2024 campaign at the Next Gen ATP Finals, where he was ousted in the group stage. Having started playing tennis at the age of 5, Fils grew up idolizing Roger Federer, as per the ATP Tour website. The French young gun has earned around $4.8 million in prize money as of March 2025 (as per ATP website). He is being coached by Ivan Cinkus as of March 2025 (via ATP website). He secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Indian Wells Masters and the 2025 Miami Open.

Arthur Fils’ first match at the Olympics was against Italy’s Matteo Arnaldi on 28 July 2024. Despite losing in straight sets, Fils displayed his range of stroke play in what turned out to be a thrilling encounter. In men’s doubles, Fils paired with Ugo Humbert to take on Sander Gille and Joran Vliegen. Unfortunately, the French pair lost 5-7 4-6.
