Ceci was drafted 15th overall by Ottawa in 2012 and made his NHL debut in the 2013-14 season. He played for multiple teams, signing contracts with Toronto, Pittsburgh, and Edmonton. In 2022, he helped the Oilers reach the Western Conference Final. He later joined the Sharks before being traded to Dallas.
