
Gustav Forsling is a Swedish professional ice hockey player. He was born on June 12, 1996. He plays defense and plays for the Florida Panthers in the NHL. Forsling was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in 2014, 126th overall. Later, he was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks and then to the Carolina Hurricanes. He eventually joined the Florida Panthers in the 2020-2021 season.
As a junior player, Forsling won many awards, including Best Defenseman in Sweden’s J20 league in 2016. He also played for Sweden’s national teams and won a gold medal at the U17 World Hockey Challenge in 2013.
