Kyle Connor, born on December 9, 1996, is a professional ice hockey player for the Winnipeg Jets in the National Hockey League(NHL). Selected 17th overall by the Jets in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Connor started his hockey journey in the Belle Tire organization in Metro Detroit, while also participating in basketball, baseball, and football during his junior high and high school years.
Kyle Connor received recognition as the Big Ten Second Star of the Week for the Week ending January 12, 2016. Throughout that period, he tallied three goals and three assists, culminating in a career-high five points on January 8 against Michigan State. Connor earned the title of Big Ten Second Star of the Week for the week ending February 2, 2016. He notched two goals and four assists in two games against Penn State during that span. On January 28, Connor equaled his career-best with five points, which included the game-winning goal. In the 2021-2022 season, he scored his career-high 47 goals, and in the same season, he earned a spot in the NHL All-Star game.
