Tage Nathaniel Thompson is an American professional ice hockey center, born on October 30, 1997. Thompson was drafted 26th overall by the St.Louis Blues in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Currently, Thompson plays for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Following his time with the U.S. National Development Team in the United States Hockey League, Thompson transitioned to collegiate hockey with Connecticut in the Hockey East conference. Throughout his freshman season at UConn in 2015-16, Thompson demonstrated his prowess by appearing in all 36 games. He emerged as a key player, ranking second on the team with 32 points, comprising 14 goals and 18 assists. Notably, Thompson led the nation with 14 power-play goals during that season.

Thompson entered the NHL scene during the Blues’ opening match of the 2017-18 season, facing off against the Pittsburgh Penguins on October 4, 2017. On July 1, 2018, he was involved in a trade orchestrated by the Blue, where Vladimir Sobotka, Patrik Berglund, a 2019 first-round draft pick, and a 2021 second-draft were sent to the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for Ryan O’Reilly. On October 5, 2020, Thompson, as a restricted free agent, inked a three-year, $4.3million contract extension with the Sabres.

Where does Tage Thompson live?

Tage-Thompson and former Buffalo Sabers captain Jack Eichel recently finalized the sale of a Waterfront Village townhouse for $1.05 million.

Tage Thompson, along with his wife, Rachel, acquired Jack Eichel’s 3000-square-foot, four-bedroom townhome located at 29 Ojibwa Circle. This transaction was recorded in filings dated September 27, 2022, at the Erie County Clerk’s office. It was originally owned by former Buffalo Bills general manager Doug Whaley, who sold the property to Eichel in November 2018 for $985,000, according to records in the Erie County Clerk’s office.

Tage Thompson's Other Houses

Despite being born in Glendale, the former home of the Arizona Coyotes, Thompson’s hockey journey didn’t involve much time playing in his hometown. Due to his family’s frequent moves during his upbringing, which often coincided with his father’s hockey career, Thompson lived in 11 different locations. While there is no information to support whether Tage Thompson has owns multiple properties, it can be assumed that he had multiple homes before settling down at 29 Ojibwa Circle.
