Terik Parascak was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada and began his career with the Lethbridge Minor Hockey Association (MHA) youth team. Later on, Parascak attended Edge School in Calgary, Alberta. Notably, he progressed through Edge School U15 varsity team, U16 varsity team and U18 varsity team before making it to the WHL with the Prince George Cougars.

Notably, Parascak gave a standout performance in the 2022-23 season with the Edge School U16 and U18 Prep teams, where he amassed a total of 164 points in 64 games.
