Jason Robertson is an American left winger for the Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League (NHL). He started his minor hockey career in Michigan with Little Caesars and the Detroit Kings before joining Ontario Hockey League (OHL) team Kingston Frontenacs in 2015. Robertson, the first Kingston player since Michael Zigomanis to record consecutive 40-goal seasons, was later traded to the Niagara IceDogs in 2018.
Robertson joined the Dallas Stars in the 2019-20 season and played primarly for their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate team Texas Stars. He made his NHL debut on February 13, 2020 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. He finished as the Calder Trophy runner-up with 17 goals and 28 assists in 51 games in the 2020-21 season. The American became the first player in Stars history to record hat-tricks in consecutive games in 2021-22 and reached 100 points for the first time in the 2022–23 season.
