
Jason Robertson is an American left winger for the Dallas Stars in the NHL. He was drafted 39th overall in the second round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. He began playing minor hockey with Little Caesars and Detroit Kings AAA in Michigan before moving to the OHL with the Kingston Frontenacs. In his first season with Kingston, he scored 18 goals, the most by a rookie since 2001–02. He later became the first Frontenac to have back-to-back 40-goal seasons and was traded to the Niagara IceDogs in 2018–19, where he posted 79 points in 38 games, as per Elite Prospects. He also won the Eddie Powers Trophy as OHL's top scorer.
Robertson made his NHL debut in the 2019–20 season and split time with the AHL's Texas Stars. In the 2020–21 season, he scored 17 goals and 28 assists in 51 games and was runner-up for the Calder Trophy. He followed that with a strong 2021–22 season, becoming the first player in Dallas Stars history to record back-to-back hat tricks. In 2022–23, Robertson was named an NHL All-Star and recorded his first 100-point season.
