Tyler Guyton played his college football career with the Oklahoma Sooners and was the offensive tackle for his team. He initially started his college football career playing for the TCU Horned Frogs and played for them for two seasons in 2020 and 2021. After the conclusion of the 2021 season, Guyton transferred to Oklahoma to play for two more seasons (2022, 2023) before declaring for the 2024 NFL draft.

Guyton started his college football career in 2020 and in his true freshman season, he redshirted and played in only one game. In 2021, Guyton played in 8 games and started for one. He split his time playing as an offensive lineman and H-Back. He also recorded a receiving touchdown in a game against Iowa State.

In January of 2022, Guyton transferred to play for the Sooners. In his first season with the Sooners, Guyton appeared on a total of 400 snaps and only allowed two sacks for the entire season. In 2023, Guyton played in 10 games and started as a right tackle for 9 games. Overall, Guyton played in 29 games in his college football career and spent the majority of his time playing as a right tackle but also went on to play a little as the left tackle.

Guyton attended Manor High School located in Manor, Texas. He is a former three-star recruit who played football and basketball in high school. Guyton spent the majority of his time playing as a defensive lineman in high school and was a second-team All-District 11-5A selection. He was the 145th-best player from Texas and committed to play his college football for TCU.
