Morgan Geekie, born on July 20, 1998, is a Canadian ice hockey center currently playing for the Boston Bruins in the National Hockey League (NHL). Notably, he began his professional career with the Carolina Hurricanes' AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers, in 2018 and helped the team win the Calder Cup. During his rookie AHL season, Geekie posted impressive numbers ( 19 goals and 27 assists) and was also key contributer during the playoffs as he scored 18 points in just 19 games to claim the Cup. Geekie then made his NHL debut the following sesason in March 2020 against the Pittsburg Penguins and scored two goals and an assist in his first first outing with the Hurricanes, contributing to an impressive 6-2 win for the Canes.

Geekie later joined the Seattle Kraken in their inaugural season and set career highs in goals, assists, and points. Moreover, he stayed with them for an another season and helped them make the playoffs after an impressive second season which saw them post 46 wins in the regular season. However, he joined the Boston Bruins in July 2023, where he had a standout season, achieving career-high stats and recording his 100th NHL goal alongside scoring his first NHL hatrick that season.
