The Carolina Hurricanes are an NHL team based in Raleigh, North Carolina, playing in the Eastern Conference. Founded in 1971 as the New England Whalers in the WHA, they joined the NHL in 1979. After relocating from Hartford to Raleigh in 1997, they won their first and only Stanley Cup in 2006.

Carolina Hurricanes Preseason Schedule

The Carolina Hurricanes started their 2024 preseason strong with a 2-1 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning on September 24. The Hurricanes then hosted the Florida Panthers on September 27 at PNC Arena and won the game 8-2. In a quick rematch the next day at Amerant Bank Arena the Hurricanes lost 5-4 in overtime.
