Saros began his career in his home country, Finland, where he played youth hockey and spent his first three professional seasons in the Liiga with his hometown team Hämeenlinnan Pallokerho (HPK). After completing his journey in the Liiga, he joined the North American Hockey League with the Nashville Predators organization. Saros was initially sent to the American Hockey League and played for the Milwaukee Admirals while there. He quickly made his name in the Admirals, earning the spot on the AHL-All Rookie team and participating in the AHL All-Star game that season. Saros became the Predators's full-time starter in 2018 and during his rookie season, he contributed a 17–10–2 record. Saros has played over 319 games since his debut.
