Stuart Skinner is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender for the Edmonton Oilers, as of 2025. He was drafted by the Oilers in the third round, 78th overall, in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Born and raised in Edmonton, he played early hockey with the South Side Athletic Club (SSAC), sharing the ice with future Oilers teammates Tyler Benson and James Hamblin.

Skinner played his junior career in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Swift Current Broncos, including a moment when he scored an empty-net goal for Lethbridge, joining a select group of WHL goalies to do so. In the NHL, Skinner became a starting goalie and earned a spot in the 2023 NHL All-Star Game. Stuart Skinner was nominated as one of the top three candidates for the Calder Memorial Trophy, awarded to the NHL’s Rookie of the Year.
